We're back!

It's been about 8 months since my last post, but I'm back now........and will try and keep up on this blog for you guys. A lot has happened in the past 8 months here in the Goff house. I will give you a quick update.

In the past 8 months we had Easter, which the boys loved! My friend Clover and I put together an Easter egg hunt at Redway school for our kids and a few other families. We hid plastic eggs with candy and prizes in them. She also made up an Easter basket with all sorts of goodies for each child. The kids were smiling from ear to ear.....it was a great Easter!

Kolby turned 3 in early April. We had a little party with family and some friends. Was a lot of fun.
May and June were pretty busy for Kevin and I with the Garberville Rodeo. We are on the Rodeo Board. It was yet another successful year! Kolby rode his first sheep in the Jr Rodeo. Oh man did that make my heart race. He lasted a couple seconds and cried when he was done because he wanted to ride another one. I'm pretty sure he thought riding a sheep was going to be like riding a horse. Sorry Kolb;( He also rode his horse Blue in the Jr Rodeo in the leadline division. He was such a cute little cowboy!

Ryan started crawling and pulling himself up in May. Yay!!!!! Cruising everywhere and getting into everything. But so much happier now that he had a little more freedom. So cute a crawling baby.

July was fun! Went up to the Paine's house for Kevin's reunion with old friends. Last year I was 9 months pregnant so I was a little more comfortable this year. Enjoyed seeing them all and their families. Went to the 4th of July celebration down at Benbow and watched the fire works show. Great show as usual! Kids had a blast. End of July we camped up at Journey and Rachael's HUGE pond for their annual pond party. Pretty much the first time Kolby had been in water over his head and he was swimming out to the middle of the pond with the bigger kids. Another heart racing moment for me. He was our little water dog. Ryan wasn't into the water as much as brother, but he had fun playing with his trucks in the sand. Lots of fun!

August we headed to the Oregon Dunes with friends and family. Stayed in a house with the Hendershots and Arroyos. Kolby went fishing with Don and Butch and caught his first fish. Ryan got his first hair cut while we were there. We walked by a barber shop in the mall one day and couldn't help it. He went from baby to big boy in a matter of minutes:( It turned out really cute though. Another good year at the Dunes!

Ryan started walking in September!!!!!!!! Didn't take him long once he got it. Now it's the running from us stage. Still into everything and can now climbing onto everything. He's taking his time on talking. Says hi, mama and dadda....then points and grunts at everything! I'm pretty sure Kolby talks enough for the both of them. Kolby learned how to ride a pedal bike with NO training wheels. Never had to have training wheels thanks to the balance bike we started him out on. He is now starting to stand and ride. A little scary I must say.

So here we are......It's October already.
Kolby started pre-school on October 3rd. He goes Tue-Thur for a half day. He LOVES it. Actually gets sad to leave when we go to pick him up. He brings things home he's made and walks around singing the ABC song. I love it. Plus it gives me a little one on one time with Ry guy. They are keeping us busy, but wouldn't have it any other way!

I posted pictures of the last 8 months below. I will post more of Halloween in a week or so.
