It has been a couple months since I last posted anything, so I will give a quick update on what has been going on over here. This summer is really flying by, June is always busy for us cause Garberville Rodeo and Kevin and are on the Rodeo Board. It was a success, we had a great turn out and we are looking forward to next year and making it even better. For the past 2 years we have had a Jr. Rodeo and animal scramble. It seems to be bringing in more families, like it should be. It was great to see so many kids there. I can already see Kolby out there in a couple years riding the sheep and chasing the bunnies around. He had a good time. Luckily Kevin's family was there to help us out with him while we ran around like chickens with our heads cut off. Ok sorry, I know I said I would quickly update. Anyways, had a lot of fun.

July came and went pretty fast. For the 4th of July we went out to Ettersburg to visit with Kev's parents and his sister Dana and her family, then headed to Benbow for dinner and fireworks. What a great show, it get's better and better each year. Kolby smiled the whole time, it was pretty darn cute. He was a busy little guy down there as he is everywhere we go. He just starts running everytime we are outside I swear. Kevin is really good at chasing him around, maybe even better than I am. We are a good team though.

Mid July we to a trip to the Oregon Dunes with our bikes, family and friends. We rented a house with Kevins parents, his sisters Dana and Erin, and families. 8 adults and 5 kids. The house was a good size for all us and I think we all enjoyed eachothers company. I know I did. Kolby had some hard nights but other than that was a really good boy. Weather was not too bad, a little cooler but what you would expect for the coast. The kids had a great time out on the dunes with the quads. One of Kevins nephews (I wont mention any names, Jackson;-))) was getting really comfortable on his quad towards the end. No fear. I think I see some racing in the future. Sorry Dana-It was fun to watch them all. Kolby stayed back at the house quite a bit while Kevin and I rode. It is nice that we both enjoy it and enjoy doing it together.
Our neighbors Mark and Jessica came and stayed in their trailer and the Hendershots and Aquarians stayed in a house down the street. Poker one night at their place and rode with them out on the dunes. It was nice to get away from home, but really nice to get back.

Kolby went to his first pond party out in Harris. He didn't want the life jacket or the water wings on, so it made it very hard to play with him in the water. He did the best in the floaty with dad. He also had his first river experience, didn't have a floaty, so he just played in the sand/rocks and walked in the water a little with papa Larry. I have some really great sandy crack pictures that I can use down the road, oh yeah!!

I am still teaching Spinning and I still get nervous before every class. One would think that would go away after 6 months. Who knows. Work has been slow for Kevin, but the calls are starting to roll in. Thank goodness! He has been doing a lot of things around the house, which has been nice. There is always something to do/fix for sure.

Puppies are getting so big and are really really cute. They are 5 months old now and are about the size we thought they would be. But still growing. They like to dig in our yard though. How do you stop this? Very frustrating.
Kolby likes to sit on them sometimes, scary I know we are working on that. Luckily they are big enough to get away when he comes. They are all three buddies though. Kolby's favorite spot outside is in their dog bed, with them... Im sure I forgot a lot of stuff, but things are good and we are all healthy and happy. Hope everyone else is to.

I posted some pictures of all this fun stuff below after the pictures of the dunes.
